When we needed to tear down an old house on our property in Iron Station, I called Muse Hauling for an estimate. When Robert said he would meet me at our property that day, I was impressed. He gave me a price, told me in detail what he would do, how long it would take, and when he could start. Our start date was pushed back when we discovered a huge honeybee hive in one wall of the house. I called in a bee keeper to remove them, approximately 50,000 bees, which took about a week. Robert stayed in touch through the whole process. When we were ready, Robert brought his equipment out and quicky, and efficiently took down the house and hauled away the debris. Robert is a true professional and does great work. I highly recommend Muse Hauling and Grading and plan to have Robert do some concrete work for me in the spring.

This past summer we needed to hire someone to put in a concrete slab for a 24'x32' garage. We got several similar estimates, but only Muse Hauling and Grading came in with an estimate that was comparable but also included the excavating that needed to be done. We asked Robert to completely rebuild our lakeside retaining wall on our Lake Norman home. After we agreed on what he was going to do and the price, he kept me completely informed the whole time, giving me updates by voice mail when I was not available. This experience was in marked contrast to most contractors who don't show up and then don't tell you what's going on. Robert did exactly what we agreed upon and he did it professionally and as quickly as the lake level would allow. After he finished the seawall, I was so pleased with his work that I asked him to deliver and spread gravel on my drive; this was also done promptly and as I expected. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I owned a single wide mobile home, we used as a summer place at Lake Norman. I rented it for a while, it was not taken care of. Through the years I hired many men to "fix" it; they either made a bigger mess or didn't show up or didn't come back. I was contacted by Catawba County that the mobile home had to be removed. Someone had "gutted" it, taken everything. I called numerous places, some never returned my call, others were out of business. Robert Muse called back the same day, told me he would look at it and let me know what he could do. He went the next day and called the next. He told me in detail what he would and could do and the price and explained the whole process. We agreed to move forward, he told me it would be a week to 10 days. The very next day, he called and said the mobile home was gone. I was pleasantly surprised. He had a crew where the schedule opened and he sent them to my property. We were having terrible rains, one dumpster was moved one week and the other the following Monday. I can't say enough about how professional Muse Hauling is, excellent work done in a most timely manner. You are kept up to date with information concerning the matter.
